My journey into driver education began over two years ago when I started teaching classroom courses and providing behind-the-wheel instruction for another local driving school. While I loved helping students learn to drive, I believed they deserved a more personalized learning experience and a higher standard of driver education. That vision inspired me to open DriveWise Academy Ohio. My greatest passion is teaching our in-person classes, where I have the opportunity to connect with students and help them build a strong foundation for safe driving. You'll also find me managing the day-to-day operations of the office and occasionally providing behind-the-wheel instruction to help ensure every student has a positive learning experience.

Opening DriveWise Academy Ohio has been a dream come true, and it wouldn't have been possible without the incredible support of my husband, Bill. From renovating our office and preparing our training vehicles to detailing, maintenance, and mechanical work, he has dedicated countless hours behind the scenes to help turn this dream into a reality. While you may not see Bill in the classroom, his hard work keeps DriveWise Academy running smoothly every day. He's the steady hand that keeps us moving forward and the voice that helps keep us grounded. We truly couldn't do it without him.

I've known Jamie for over 20 years, and when I decided to open DriveWise Academy Ohio, I convinced her to join me on this adventure. What started as my dream has truly become a shared passion. Jamie's creativity and fresh perspective have played a tremendous role in shaping DriveWise Academy into the welcoming, student-focused school we're proud to call our own. Jamie has embraced her role as Lead Drive Instructor wholeheartedly. She is dedicated to ensuring each and every one of her students get the hands-on practice and real-world experiences they need—not JUST to pass the Ohio BMV driving test, but to truly become safe, responsible, and confident drivers for life. Her knowledge, encouragement, and genuine care for our students make her an invaluable part of the DriveWise Academy family.

Cadence is a valued member of our office team, and if you've ever called DriveWise Academy Ohio, there's a good chance you've spoken with her. What makes Cadence especially unique is that she was once one of my adult students. Because of that, she understands our mission, our values, and the level of care and education we strive to provide every student and family. Her firsthand experience in that role allows her to answer questions with confidence and genuinely connect with our students. Cadence works in the office a few days each week and has quickly become an essential part of our team. Her knowledge of our programs, friendly personality, and willingness to help make every interaction a positive one.
